Jorma Taccone

Jorma Taccone is an American comedy writer-actor-director. He can be seen in Universal’s Lonely Island feature, POPSTAR, which he starred in and co- directed. He can be most recently be seen in Amazons feature, The People We Hate at the Wedding.

He recurred on HBO’s critically acclaimed series GIRLS and has also appeared as a guest star on NBC’s UP ALL NIGHT, PARKS & RECREATION and FX’s THE LEAGUE.

Jorma can also be seen in Fox’s feature THE WATCH, directed by Akiva Schaffer and starring Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Ben Stiller. He starred alongside Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Isla Fisher in Shaffer’s Paramount feature HOT ROD. His other film credits include ROLE MODELS and LAND OF THE LOST.

Jorma is one third of the sketch comedy troupe The Lonely Island. He produced, directed, and performs in much of the music for The Lonely Island’s two albums “Incredibad” and “Turtleneck and Chain,” and many of the nearly 100 SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Digital Shorts. He was previously a writer/composer and director for the show.

In August 2009 Taccone directed his first feature MACGRUBER for Universal, which starred Will Forte and Kristen Wiig. His television directing credits include PARKS AND RECREATION, UP ALL NIGHT, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE LAST O.G. and the upcoming TBS series MIRACLE WORKERS.
